JANUARY 2011:  Miles Clarke Business Events Communication Award

Did you hear any great industry presentations in 2010? Nominations are now being sought for the Miles Clarke Business Events Communication Award, now in its third year. The criteria has changed to recognise outstanding presentations on business events at industry conferences in Australia or overseas, by an Australian presenter.
 
If you delivered or heard an insightful presentation on an industry issue, topic or case study in 2010 and would like the content to be considered for this communication award, and for publication in micenet AUSTRALIA magazine, please contact BECA for the nomination details. The deadline for nominations is February 28, 2011.

APRIL 2010:  WINNER ANNOUNCED: MILES CLARKE BUSINESS EVENTS COMMUNICATION AWARD

The winner of this year’s Award was announced at the MEA Annual Awards Dinner in Melbourne on April 20.

 

Bethany Teulan from Business Events Sydney took out this year’s award with an article entitled

A Highly Commended Certificate went to a joint entry submitted by Olga Junek, Leonie Lockstone and Martin Robertson from Victorian University, entitled:

2009: WINNER ANNOUNCED: MILES CLARKE COMMUNICATION AWARD

BECA announced the winner of the Miles Clarke Business Events Communication Award in Adelaide on 7 April 2009:

Ian Whitworth, from creative marketing consultancy A Lizard Drinking and audiovisual group Scene Change, with an entry entitled "Time to Embrace the Unvirtual: Will the meetings industry still exist in ten years?". Click here to read the article.
